It's a tactical lever action .30-30 !! Now how sweet is that ? What's the price tag on one of these ?

As the owner of 4 vintage Winchester Lever actions, I find this to be the most awful thing ever. The zombies have already won if we've taken to defiling an American classic is such a way.
Re: Mossberg 464 ZMB
Well it's not a Winchester now is it ?! lol. So you can't be upset over the fact that they took a classic rifle and ruined it. But I do have to agree that if Winchester took one of its most iconic rifles and did this it would be appalling by any means ! But its Mossberg that did this so you just have to shrug your shoulders and say " Ehh, another flubbed attempt by Mosberg " Now if Mossberg tried its hand at an AR platform that just might turn out the same way a very low end, low budget rifle, OR it might turn out half decent ?

Re: Mossberg 464 ZMB
Its a 1890s series clone with tacticool furniture and its just awful. Sure I can get upset all I want. They took an icon of Classic Americana and gave it the Hollywood sleaze angle to sell it to the tacticool crowd.
This essentially the equivalence of turning the Statue of Liberty into a titty bar.
I could think of nothing better than for people to be outraged by this. At the very least, I would hope its compatible with existing furniture so that I could remove it and replace it with some quality treated walnut. Would think the possibility of picking this up in a bargain bin would be much more appealing.

Mossberg lists their 464 as being based on the Winchester 94 and Marlin designs. And they do produce a classic version. They also mention a version of the 464 in .22 cal. And their sight has them listed as well.

NYC trip when?
Also, gotta agree with Will on this one. I'm much more of a purist when it comes to bolties and lever-guns. It's like watching people tacticool a Mosin...Yuck...

The rails i can accept, but the stock and grip just look awkward to me.
Overall, an interesting concept, but not a winner in my book.

Look how elite we all are
A vintage Winchester is a vintage Winchester, this is a zombie killer and it looks tacticool
I would never condone modifying a vintage Winchester but this is an entirely new creation with similar designs to an old lever-action rifle.
The shot gun looks way better
