It looks awfully cheap. One of the nice things about the older kits was they looked really good. Bad plastic, visible seam lines - yuck. There was very little plastic on the kits and the realsteel prototype.
But hey, this gives them something to use all those Thompsons that aren't being bought. >

I thought that too, but if it was inexpensive one could do some smoothing, sanding and painting...

I hope it is just the prototype that looks bad and not the final production model. It needs alot more metal components. The blaze orange muzzle caps make it look far worse.

Do you think they could get away with no orange cap as it is not a replica of an actual production gun? Star wars blasters are not sold with orange front ends, are they?

PJ, I believe that the star wars toy blasters that you are talking about do have a orange tip per say. The end of the toy barrel is orange if I remember correctly.

Look for it a few weeks after its release, once it hits the clearance isles. I do like the idea of being able to hunt that red L.E.D. bb counter at night though.
